Today Elder Johnson was able to call home! We waited for hours for the phone call and finally at 8:30 pm he called. We got to talk to him for an hour. It was so fun to hear his voice and for each of us to get to talk to him for a few minutes. We all laughed a lot and this time we didn't have a lot of tears! He is happy and the work is moving along there in Papatoetoe. They had transfers on May 8. Elder Johnson stayed in the same area but has a new companion, Elder Larson. He is from Sacramento. Elder Johnson says they are bros already--he is a King's fan and they get along great. He called us from a member's home.
